Runner-up finish in Muss Weyant Tribute at Bedford
Andrew Wylie made the most of his lone weekend start, turning in his best performance of the season Friday at Bedford Speedway.
The Saltsburg, Pennsylvania, native advanced into the Muss Weyant Tribute feature with a runner-up effort in his heat race. Much like his outing in last month’s Gary Martz Memorial, Wylie jumped to an early lead and set the pace out front at the half-mile oval. He ultimately finished second in the 25-lap affair, joining race winner Jeff Rine and third-place finisher Matt Sponaugle on the podium.
